Michael Rowland stars as Shred in the new hit FOX comedy “Animal Control,” alongside
Joel McHale. Originally from Atlanta, GA, he is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor. He made his late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and in 2022 he was honored as a New Face at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He’s been featured multiple times on “This Week at the Comedy Cellar” on Comedy Central, as well as “Stupid Questions” with Chris DiStefano and “Pause with Sam Jay” on HBOMax. He also has a feature set for Comedy Central Digital, and in 2019 he was a finalist in the "New York's Funniest Stand Up" competition for New York Comedy Festival.
